District 203 Science Philosophy
The science philosophy of Naperville District 203 is to graduate
students who are scientifically literate, think critically, are problem
solvers, make responsible decisions and have the skills necessary
for productive citizenship and life long learning in partnership with
the community.
Experimental Design Charts
The Experimental Design Charts that are linked to from this page
are important tools in the science class. Teachers model their planning
and thinking process as they work through experiments. Poster size
copies of these charts hang in every classroom and provide a framework
for teachers and students in the inquiry process. Teachers can write
write on these charts using dry erase markers, students are also provided
with thier own paper copies of this chart.
