Frequently Asked Questions

Q). What are student lunch times?
A) Grades 1 - 3: 11:20 AM - 12:00 PM
    Grades 4 & 5: 11:50 AM - 12:30 PM

Q). What is the procedure if my child is sick?
A) Please call 420-6355 (Health Office) prior to 8:15 to report daily absences. A recording
device will be used between 2:30 PM and 8:15 AM to record the following information:

     1. Date
     2. Student's name
     3. Teacher's name
     4. Reason for absence
Q). What standardized tests will my child take this year?
A) Please refer to the District203 website for this information

Q). If my child takes medications, how can I be sure it is administered?
A) The school cannot give medicine, prescription or over the counter, unless we have a
signed permission from your child's doctor. Medicine should be brought to school in the
original prescription bottle (pharmacies will give an extra one when asked) or in the
container in which it was purchased. It should be clearly marked with the student's name
and dosage to be given. For the safety of all children, any medicine MUST be given
through the Health Office. Please do not send medication in lunchboxes or pockets.
