SENIOR CLASS PARTY COMMITTEES

 

Volunteer sheets will be available at the meeting on November 9th.

Please volunteer for at least one area of interest before the party and one opportunity to participate during the party.

 


OPPORTUNITIES BEFORE THE PARTY

 

FOOD

Set up, serve and clean up food for volunteers                              Friday and Saturday before the party.

CHECK-IN

Stuff fanny packs.

VOLUNTEER

Work together to fill open positions within the various committees or miscellaneous odd jobs as they occur.

TODDLER PHOTOS/ MEMORY LANE

Organize the toddler photo wall and the “walk” down memory lane.

DECORATIONS

Many, many volunteers are needed. No artistic skills are necessary.  People needed to cut, paste, paint by number, help build and install decorations. “Muscle” needed to carry items in and out of shed on decorating nights and the weekend of the party.  A schedule of work dates will be available at the meeting.

PRIZE SORTING

Sort and organize prizes three weeks before the party.

INVITATIONS/PUBLICITY

Help with invitation mailing and publicity.

MERCHANT DONATIONS

Committee of 8-12 people

Responsible for contacting local merchants and soliciting donations to be used for prizes and food.


 

 

OPPORTUNITIES DURING THE PARTY

Shift times:

9:00 PM – 1:30 AM

1:00 AM – 5:30 AM

 

 

 

FOOD

Set up, serve and clean up food for students and volunteers

SUNRISE

starting at 4 am – 8 am

Set up and coordinate a committee of Junior parents to tear down and centrally locate the decorations.  Clean up and get the school back in order.

CHECK-IN

Check students in upon arrival

VOLUNTEER

Responsible for safekeeping of volunteer personal belongings as well as checking in volunteers

GAME ROOM

Set up and supervise various games and activities

DANCE CLUB

Serve refreshments and chaperone

QUIET ROOM

Supervise students while they “chill out” watching big screen TV.

GAME SHOWS

Set up and work interactive games

CHAPERONES

Monitor exits in pairs, rotating from location to location

PRIZE DRAWING

Manage prize distribution

INFLATABLES

Supervise students for fun flicks, bungee run, gladiator joust, etc.

OBSTACLE COURSE

Set up and help run the course

COAT CHECK/CHECK OUT

Responsible for safekeeping of seniors’ personal belongings and prizes; check out seniors at end of party.

TODDLER PHOTOS  (2nd shift only)

Take down toddler photos and place in take-home bags.

MEMORY LANE  (2nd shift only)

Take down memory wall and place in take-home bags.

SALON & TATTOOS

Set up /supervise salon activities & temporary tattoo application.
