PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF
THE CLASS OF 2005: GET READY FOR THE
ALL-NIGHT SENIOR CLASS PARTY 2005 ON
The all-night “Senior Class Party”
is a long standing tradition at NCHS.
The planning and execution of this District 203 and NCHS Administration
sanctioned event, sponsored by NCHS Home & School, is the sole responsibility of the senior class parents. The party
consists of various games, activities, prizes, food and opportunities for fun. In order to keep the details of the party a
secret, a meeting will be held for parents/guardians only. We expect
at least one parent from each family to attend. The meeting will be held on:
Ø Hear about the fantastic activities
already planned
Ø Meet General Chairs and Committee
Heads
Ø Pay for your senior’s $50.00 ticket on November 9th ONLY and RECEIVE 10 FREE RAFFLE TICKETS for your senior! After
February 1, the ticket price will increase to $60.00.
Ø After payment is received, sign up on a “first come/first served” basis to volunteer
for this event YOU MUST PAY FIRST...THIS
ASSURES US OF YOUR CHILD’S PARTY ATTENDANCE AND MAKES YOU AN “ACTIVE”
VOLUNTEER!
We will need two photos of your senior:
One should be a CURRENT CANDID
picture of your son or daughter (NO
senior photos, please). The head of your senior in this photo should be
about the SIZE OF A QUARTER (see
life preserver template below). This picture will
be used to make a keepsake favor for your student and is not returnable. PLEASE DO NOT CUT THE HEAD OUT OF THE PICTURE;
the poster company will do this for us. The other picture needed is a photo of your child as a TODDLER (no
naked shots, please). This photo should be about 3.5" x 5" - with
your student's name and phone number on the back. Every effort will be made to return this photo at the end of the party.
Both of these photos can be turned in at the “Photo Table" on November
9, or they can be mailed to Patty Daniel, c/o NCHS,
The most important element in making this party a success is the
participation of ALL of the parents, and there are various “levels” of
participation. Listed in this mailing are the committees
and their duties, as well as items we already know that we will need. Please
take a moment to review this material, mark your calendar for the parent
meeting and the planned Jewel/Osco “Shop and Share” days. Watch for future
announcements regarding this party in the Central Scenes Newsletter; look for
the “cruise ship.”
All suggestions are welcomed; we are
only at the beginning stages. If you have any talents, abilities or ideas that
will enhance this party or any questions, please call any of the Senior Class
Party General Chairs:
