  • The Yucky Site - I thought about whether or not this site should be associated with my homepage for a long time. But hey, if you want to know what causes belching, shouldn't you know? It's educational and its the truth. I would suggest that you discuss the idea of going to this site with your parents first!
  • Beakman & Jax - These two work on mini-movies and interesting links for science on the web.
  • Brainpop - The BEST thing for educational mini-movies on the web. WOW!
  • How Stuff Works - Author and teacher Marshall Brain has put together a compact site offering reasons as to the way things work. How does a car engine work?
  • Bill Nye - While you may commonly see Bill on Noggin, check out the cool science at his site.
  • Science Master - This site uses a lot of reading, but has great links and homework help to many of our topics.
  • Neuroscience for Kids - What weighs three pounds and allows you to smell flowers, run, or just think? You guessed it, your brain! This site is jammed with amazing facts, brian games, and news on our nervous system. Challenge yourself to brianteasers, test your reflexes and memory, or just find out how the nervous system works.
  • International Space Station - This baby is supposed to be done by 2004, but I think NASA has bumped it back to 2006. Either way, check where the pieces (that are in orbit) are.
  • Space Image Libraries - Check out the latest pictures from the Hubble telescope and from observatories around the world!
  • Science 4 Kids - Begin at a student drawn collage of pictures and choose your topic. Each area has great summaries of relevant information.
  • Web Weather - Even though this is a fifth grade topic, you may want to learn a bit about that thunderstorm that's coming.
  • Borrico Animal Search - Oh no, you've got to do a report on an animal?! Well, this site is a great place to begin!
