Stanine - Measure evenly

those of others in the nationwide sample

- Student performance compared to other students in the nationwide sample

AGE RELATED SCORES

Standard Age Score -
Student�s score based on scale of 50-150, with 100 being an average score

National Percentile Rank
- Student performance compared to other students of the same age on the
same test

Iowa Test of Basic
Skills (ITBS) |
Purpose: - To test the student�s ability in
the areas of reading, language arts, and mathematics.
How did my child perform on this test?
How does his/her performance compare to his/her
CogAT (or expected) scores?
How do his/her scores compare to those of
other students in the same grade?

READING THE RESULTS

National Percentile Rank (NPR) - Student performance
compared to other students in the nationwide sample
-
Predicted National Percentile Rank (PNPR) - Prediction
of student�s national percentage rank based upon correct responses to selected
test items on the ITBS and CogAT
|
Comparing the PNPR to the NPR allows
one to determine if the student is achieving at, above, or below expectations.
