What is Scrip ?

Scrip is a program by which you can purchase gifts cards from a variety of vendors through Scott Home and School.  These gift cards are great for gift giving, holidays, and stores that you visit on a regular basis. The gift cards are purchased by Home and School at a discount, so the difference between the discount price and the face value of the gift card is kept by Home and School to fund student activities and events.  Orders for Scrip are taken on a weekly basis and we will have sales from inventory Friday afternoons.  Order forms will go home this week, and Friday inventory sales will begin after Labor Day weekend.  If you have any questions, please contact Sue Halford or email at scripatscott@yahoo.com.

SCRIP HOLIDAY GIFT PROGRAM

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Scrip Holiday Teacher gift program.  Approximately 220 students & families donated to 60 teachers for their holiday gifts. It was a win-win for everyone; shopping was easy for the parents, teachers got exactly what they wanted, and H&S made approximately $500 through our Scrip purchasing power.

Thank you to those families who also bought Scrip cards for their holiday needs.  H&S appreciates it.  Gift cards will continue to be for sale throughout the school year so watch for the fliers and think about your gift giving needs for Valentines Day, Birthdays, coaches gifts, etc.
