BY THE NUMBERS

Social a success!
If you were at Tessa's on February 23rd you
witnessed the generosity of a school community rallying together to
raise money for our children. We raised a glass, raised our paddles and
even raised a few eyebrows as the bidding continued throughout the
evening. When it was all said and done, everyone had a great time
and we rose over $16,000. All to purchase laptops for our children!
Congratulations to all who touched this project
in some way. From the generous basket donations that you sent in with
your children to the clean up at the end of the night, no act of
kindness went unnoticed. We couldn't have done it without the over 40
people who helped with this fundraiser in some capacity. Over 71 local
area businesses contributed to the success of the event. Thirty-three
Scott families donated their goods or services to our cause as well as
24 friends of Scott School. We are truly grateful. Again, we are
amazed at the exceptional generosity and commitment to making this event
a success!
Finally, ROCKSTAR PARKING. We raised
over $300 dollars in advanced sale raffle tickets for this coveted VIP
reserved parking place. Those in attendance were able purchase
additional tickets and add them to the "raffle box". During the raffle,
Patti Thorne was the lucky winner! Patti Thorne then put the spot up
for LIVE AUCTION...where Kim Coudreaut was our lucky bidder. Patti –
YOU are the ROCKSTAR! Thank you so much for your charitable action! As
soon as the ground softens, the sign will go up and this spot (3rd spot
on the diagonal) will be RESERVED. Please respect the sign and the rear
view mirror hangers and do not park there. This spot is well earned.
