Student Council is comprised of elected representatives of all classrooms from first through fifth. Students apply to be representatives and are elected after explaining their qualifications to their classmates. Each class has two representatives. The representatives meet with the staff sponsor regularly.
Student council representatives have a number of responsibilities. They work at school functions like Veteran's Day, Saddlefest, and Volunteer Luncheon. They bring to the meetings the concerns and suggestions of their classmates for discussions. Members decide special days for the school population to enjoy, special fund raisers and how money raised will be spent.
Student Council members act as greeters and servers for the Volunteer Luncheon in April and sponsor a special Food Drive in conjunction with the Post Office, a Ranch View business partner, in May.
