Chamber Winds

Chamber Winds is the third of the five concert band classes at NNHS. It provides a great opportunity for students who are on their way towards one of our top ensembles. The band regularly performs musical works that are among the "staple" of high school band literature. Numbers in this band are intentionally smaller to allow for greater individual responsibility. Chamber Winds regularly performs at area and state level music festivals, most recently the Plainfield Concert Band Festival. Selection is (as for all our concert groups) by audition, which usually consists of the required music for IMEA (Illinois Music Educators Association). Private study is highly recommended for members of this band.
