French Club

The French Club is a social organization which offers French cultural activities and French language activities. Members come from all four levels of French Classes. The French Club usually meets twice a month from 3:15 - 4:00 P.M.. Refreshments are served at each meeting. There is no fee for membership. Activities include viewing movies in French like "Home Alone" and "The Lion King", pizza parties, French card games, "boules" - a kind of lawn bowling, and games like charades and Pictionary.

German Club

The German Club meets twice each month after school for a variety of activities. Refreshments are always served, with pizza being the favorite choice! Activities include games and movies. Every year we visit a German restaurant as a fun outing. Everyone is invited to attend---the more the merrier! Wir haben immer viel Spass!

Latin Club  (aka Romani Nos)

The Latin Club provides for a social forum for students of the classics to gather and share their talents and interests. The Latin Club also helps our team prepare for the Illinois Junior Classical competition. We have used this time to make togas, create our banner, and work on art projects. Latin Club has also sponsored pizza parties, movie parties, and an end of the year picnic.  This year was the first year that the clubs at both North and Central have come together for a friendly football game.  We spend a lot of time having fun too.  Veni apud nos ut rideatis. Spanish Club

Spanish Club is a thirty member organization that focuses on three main things: Latino/Spanish culture, community service, and fundraising. In our endeavors, we have eaten authentic Spanish food, thrown Diadelos Muertos and Cinco de Mayo parties, brought Christmas to underprivileged kids, and learned about many different Latin countries and cultures. We meet once a week for approximately one hour, and we're always looking for new members to join the fun!
