Dressing for Success

Look through ads or catalogues to find two "outfits" that would be appropriate for you to wear to work and for social occasions. Consider the job/profession you have selected. You need to realize that your current or college clothing will not be the "dress for success" look you’ll need. If desired, clip out pictures, or parts that together would make an outfit, including shoes (do NOT include underwear!) and make your "ad" page creatively and neatly also using your computer technology skills.

Cut out the name of the catalog (or cut and paste it using computer technology) and attach it to the page as well.

The prices for these parts or the outfit need to be included from the catalog pages- not made up nor hand written.

Add up the totals. Type the total and include it on the page. If the totals exceed your budgeted amount for clothing, indicate which parts you might purchase in one month by highlighting them, total those amounts and circle them on the page and carry that figure over to your adjusted budget column sheet.

Prepare a write-up that clearly explains your reasons for choosing the items you selected for both your occupation and social occasions.
