Naperville North Environmental Club:  Thanks!

On the topic of hope, peace, and full stomachs.

"Peace on Earth, good will to all men," is what the memorable Tiny-Tim once said in Dickens "The Christmass Carol." Environmental club would like to share in this spirit by promoting goodwill.  Right here in Naperville, people are awaiting food this winter with hungry eyes. District 203 throws away 200+ pounds of food each week in its dumpsters.

Naperville's Fishes and Loaves would greatly appreciate this food.  This is why Environmental Club is selling green ribbons to raise awareness to the enviornment.  Also, we hope to bring focus to the problem of hunger.  More directly, we are raising mony to buy Fishes and Loaves an industrial size refrigerator.  This refrigerator will prevent the districts food from spoiling. Withot spoilage, Fishes and Loaves

Hungry mouths will be fed and smiles and warm-hearts will result from this effort.  This is the spirit of the Holidays, and that is what we in North's environmental club are raising this money. We are more than halfway through our goal of raising two thousand dollars to pay for the cost of this freezer.  Enviornmental club wants those of you who can to donate $1 to the refrigerator fund.  This will be a Christmass present from the Naperville North students to the local community.

We whish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have given money to this cause.  Many of you are wearing your ribbons this holliday season with a since of pride and hope.  This sincere and noble action this holiday season will not go unnoticed. You may walk into the new year with your heart halloed over your head, for your actions have helped this community.

The efforts presented and the contribution sofar over the past couple of years on this long standing effort have been outstanding in the this writers opinion. Thank you and God bless you all, your special. --SDY
