Philosophy
The Naperville District #203 K-12 Library Media Program is an integral part of the education process. Our mission is to provide excellent resources, programs and services to our educational community in order to graduate students who are effective users of ideas and information in their pursuit of lifelong learning.
Book Check Out
All classes have a weekly group check out time. At this time students are able to check out a book and hear a story or book talk in the LRC. Students are allowed to keep library books for two weeks. Overdue notices are sent out weekly. If a student has a book that is over 30 days overdue no further checkouts are allowed until the matter is resolved.
Birthday Books
Students may choose to donate a book to the LRC on their birthday. Feel free to purchase a personal favorite or choose from our birthday book basket. The cost for a birthday book from the basket is $10.00. It will be personalized with the child's name and birthday and shared with the class at checkout time.
