Welcome to the Madison SFCP home page.

Our mission at Madison is to enhance our children's learning and development by being a proactive resource in promoting, strengthening and celebrating the partnership that exists between Schools, Families and the Naperville Community.

We are a team of parents, teachers, and administrators reaching out to our families and the community with programs and events which in the end will benefit our childrens education.

For more in-depth information about the organization and origin of the SFCP, please check out the District SFCP site.

Or, to go really in-depth, you can also check out the website for the National Network of Partnership Schools to see SFCP in action on a nationwide basis.

Heres a list of the current project were working on. If any of these look like they might interest you, please drop the listed contact a note.

TEAM PARENTS

The primary link between our families and our educators. Work closely with the Team Leaders to provide community and parent support when our teachers (and therefore our children) need it. Also serve as a parent point of contact for and any general school questions.

Principal and BOE Coffees

An outstanding opportunity to meet and talk with our Principal and other members of District 203 in a small-group, informal setting. We try to schedule a variety of times so that everybody has a chance to attend one or more coffees. Our first one was a great success and we have more to come:

Board of Education Coffee with Dean Reschke

President, 203 BOE and Madison Board Representative

Dads Breakfast

A fun and informative winter morning where students show off the fun parts of school to their Dads. Sign-up information will be sent out in January. If you have questions or think you might want to help

contact the coordinators.

Parent-Teacher Golf Tournament

Lets ruin a good walk but get to know some of Madisons finest. Our first annual golf tournament will be held in May 2004, so check back for updates. If you love to hit a little white ball and have some ideas for us,

drop us a line.

Sixth Grade Welcome Picnic

Starting next year, we plan on welcoming our sixth graders and their families to Madison with a beginning of the year picnic. No conferences, speeches, or meetings; just a chance to make our new families feel welcome and meet their new teachers in a casual setting. Want to help or have a question?

We're only an email away!

And thats only the beginning! We are also looking at CASA nights, a community-based aid program, study skills for parents, a variety of speakers, school-business partnerships...well you get the idea.

If you have ANY questions or ideas, drop us a line. We always welcome new people and new ideas because we certainly dont have all the answers. All were trying to do is make our childrens education as complete and enriching as possible by getting everybody to work together: the School, the Families, and the Community. Together we can accomplish so much more than working separately.
