APPLIED TECHNOLOGY

These courses are a unique opportunity for students to explore technology.  The lab is one of very few in the world to use this approach.  This course is currently being offered as a 7 week class in sixth grade, and a 12 week course in seventh and eighth grades. At the 7th and 8th grade level, students may choose which station and partner they will work with.  The Applied Technology course at LJHS uses state-of-the-art equipment to instruct students in various areas of technology. By use of interactive CD-ROM software students will explore a world of different career oriented topics. There are 30 different areas of interest in the lab which the students will be randomly scheduled to work at with a partner.
