from the Lions!
Lions teachers recognize the importance of social and emotional growth. Seventh graders are at that crossroad between childhood and adolescence. They are changing rapidly in many ways, both physically and emotionally. It can be a confusing time for students (and parents). In this packet is also a handout that describes the middle school child at various stages of development.
Lions in the wild are admired for their strength, teamwork, and powerful sense of family. It is fitting that a lion family is called a PRIDE. You and your child will feel this sense of family and of pride in our team during the coming school year.
