Lion PRIDE

 

Throughout this year, Lions students will be participating in numerous outreach activities.  Our goal is to help the greater community, outside of the four walls of Lincoln.  All three of the teams at 7^th grade will be doing similar activities.  Listed below are the goals and activities for the Lions Team.

 

 

 

 

September:

Magazine Drive

                                    :to support our school’s efforts to raise money for needed facility and equipment improvements

 

October:

Ronald McDonald House

                                    :to provide necessities to the House as they help families through a very difficult time

 

November:

Support-A-Soldier

                        :to provide needed supplies and support to our dedicated troops all over the world

 

December;

Letters to Santa

                                    :to provide holiday presents for needy children in the area

 

January:

Book drive

                                    :to provide new and gently used books for children and adults who are not able to buy them

 

February:

Adopt-A-Grandparent

                                    :to write friendly letters to brighten the day of residents of Chicagoland nursing homes

 

March:

Summer Volunteers

                                    :to have guest speakers come in and help us find out ways that we can contribute and volunteer during summer

 

April / May:

Canned Food Drive

                                    :to collect a variety of canned goods to donate to local charities
