The sixth grade science program is designed to introduce students to the basic facts, concepts and skills of science. This program is activity-based, engaging and relevant to the student’s world. Students will use higher-order thinking skills to sharpen their ability to solve problems and apply scientific principles.

Homework
All work must be completed on time so progress is not hindered. Students need to be prepared for class each day. Students need to bring science binder, book, ruler, and pen/pencil to class each day.

MathThematics and Covering and Surrounding. Students will utilize Exploration, Investigation, and Application Skills in order to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills through math facts, vocabulary, computational skills and mental math.
