Our mission is to acclimate sixth graders to a middle school setting, to assist growth in becoming independent life-long learners, and to develop the study skills and knowledge needed in the 21st century. We will strive to foster a positive atmosphere at school, while encouraging each student to do his/her best. Our goal includes making learning motivational and enjoyable, yet academically appropriate and challenging. To achieve this goal, we have incorporated various theme units into our curriculum. We also engage in an assortment of Bears team gatherings, study skills activities, activity-based field trips, and special team programs.
Our mission is to educate students to be self-directed learners, collaborative workers, complex thinkers, quality producers, and community contributors.
