This class is equivalent to the traditional freshmen high school algebra class. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be recommended for placement in Geometry I or Honors Geometry I.

                                          Quiz Average …………. 40%
                                               Homework percentage ... 20%

Grading Scale:      

                                       A = 90 – 100%

                                      B = 80 – 89 %

                                      C = 70 – 79%

                                      D = 60 – 69%

                             F  < 60%

                             (Rounded to the nearest tenth)

Assignment sheets given for each chapter noting homework, quizzes, and tests.

Homework is assigned daily, collected after each checkup, quiz, and/or test.

All work compiled in a file for each trimester, available for examination on request.
