OUR PHILOSOPHY - The directors at Kennedy Junior High believe in the value of expression via Fine Arts.   We also strive to give students the necessary framework in which to express themselves while developing into self-directed learners.  We achieve self-directed learning by equipping students with organizational skills and procedures necessary to maximize their efficiency in the classroom and practice environments.  In an ever changing world, it is important to remember the role of Fine Arts expression in the holistic education of a child.  While no one can dispute the validity of academic success in preparing students for the real world, our hope is that self-expression in a group setting provides an opportunity for students to see how the perspectives they adopt in their core subjects may evolve when the individual’s responsibilities reflects the team’s success.
