Kennedy Charity Caterers
All 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited
to join Kennedy Charity Caterers, KCC, a service club. It is student organized
and student led. KCC caters to school and business functions, organizes
and runs food sales (Bake Sales, and Pretzel Sales during home sports games),
holds service drives, such as book sales, and numerous fund raisers.
Funded initially by a grant from the
Naperville Education Foundation, the group is self supporting and donates
its profits to charitable causes selected in advance by the students.
The group meets weekly at Kennedy at
a time and date mutually agreed upon. Officers in the club conduct the
meetings.
