P.C. is a representative group of 6^th, 7^th & 8^th grade students, teachers, & staff at Jefferson that meets bi-weekly to promote positive behavior and good citizenship.

 Meetings are held every other Friday morning @ 7:15am in the conference room (right next to the Main Office).

We have adopted the following words for the word P.A.T.R.I.O.T.S. and have decided to focus on one word each month of the school year.  Here is what we have planned to fulfill the action of the word:

TRIMESTER 1

Positive

¨    Beyond the Bully” 6^th grade assembly on 9/25.

¨    Positive Day 10/17.  Win a pizza @ lunch just for doing something positive for someone else!

 Ambition –

¨    Dress for Success Day/dress for what you want to be

TRIMESTER 2

Thoughtful

¨    Clean up the blacktop by teams (academic teams?)– prize for winner (over the week?) Garbage bin for each grade level with drop in top

¨    Cleaning up classrooms. 

¨    Write a thoughtful note to another student or staff member.  Organized during lunch.  Delivered in Supervised Study by Patriot Character students (in shirts)
