What about Eagle Awards?   S.O.A.R. focuses on whole classes rather than individual students.

How will S.O.A.R. work?    Each month, the students and staff will be especially conscious of one attribute.  As classes demonstrate extremely special forms of the attribute, the class will receive a letter.  Staff members in the building, excluding classroom teachers, will distribute the letters.  For example, if a class exemplifies safety at recess, Mr. Gaskin could give the class a cut-out letter "S." Each class will work to spell out S.O.A.R. by the end of the year.   What happens at the end? At the end of the four months, the whole school will participate in a celebration to commemorate the four attributes.     Monthly Focus
