Band students learn a variety of styles of music.  There are several performances each year, including Winter Program performances, concerts, band festival, Fine Arts Faire, and the Memorial Day  parade. Elmwood’s spring band and orchestra concert is held at Lincoln Junior High.

Small group lessons are taught during the school day.  Lessons are scheduled on a rotating basis to minimize impact on the classrooms. Lessons and large group rehearsals occur weekly.
