Preschool Screening Program

A screening program conducted by educational professionals can help parents determine if their 3 to 5 year old preschoolers are developing appropriately for their ages. Participating children are checked for hearing, vision, speech / language, fine motor, gross motor and cognitive development. Findings are discussed with the accompanying parents / guardians. To make an appointment, call District #203 Early Childhood Office at (630) 420-6899 between  8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Early Childhood Programs

Elmwood School is the current site for some of the District #203 Early Childhood programs. These classes provide specialized instruction for three, four and five year olds who have developmental delays or who are at risk for learning. The programs address individual needs in group settings and foster independence.
