Dear Ellsworth School Parent/Guardian,

Welcome to Ellsworth Elementary School! We are pleased to have you as a partner in the education and development of your child during the upcoming school year. One of our goals will be to see that the parents and guardians of students, as well as the students themselves, enjoy their year here at Ellsworth School.

The administration and staff of Ellsworth School expect students to conduct themselves at all times in a manner that reflects the good upbringing they have had. Students should show respect for self and respect for the property, rights and privileges of others, just as they would expect and appreciate respect from their fellow students. Our student’s conduct, both in and outside of school is a reflection of our school. Good behavior can help make each school day a happy and rewarding experience.

Here at Ellsworth School we as a staff are firmly committed to the education of all children. Together we can make your child’s experiences here at Ellsworth School educational, enjoyable and memorable. Your teachers and administration anxiously await the beginning of what is going to be a very significant year in the life of your child.

I am excited about the successes and challenges that  await us all. For these to be meaningful, a partnership amongst parents, staff and students is vitally important. An integral part of this involvement revolves around effective communication between the school and your home. If you have any questions that deal with in-class activities please call and ask to speak to your child’s classroom teacher. If  your concerns deal with the overall operation of the school or school programming please contact me directly.

Sincerely,

Richard Allen
