It is so easy to be see being nice as a wonderful quality in an individual but
of limited importance in the complex life of work, achievement, politics,
and society. It can look like an "extra something" that good people weave
into their daily lives-but not a necessity.
Actually, being nice is about being who we truly are at our best and it
emerges as one of the most powerful tools at our disposal, as we go through
our daily lives. Its power not only is easily accessible to anyone who cares to
demonstrate it, but it can never be diminished; rather it expands with every
nice action.
A nice person is cooperative, ethical, fair, generous, helpful, joyful, kind, loyal,
and mannerly. Being nice can be demonstrated through the simplest of
actions, yet it has the capacity to return us to the very best of our humanity.
