It is important to be industrious so you finish or accomplish something.
Sometimes, when we are doing a tough job, it would be easy to give up
when the going gets tough, but then the job would be left undone!
How can I demonstrate that I am industrious?
You can demonstrate that you are industrious by choosing a job,
working with a good attitude, and finishing your job.

Why is it important to be industrious?
It is important to be industrious so that you accomplish something.
Being industrious is an applied effort; it is whatever you expend your
energy on for the sake of the accomplishment. Work in this fundamental
sense is not what you do for a living, but, what you do with your living.
There are no menial jobs, only menial attitudes. It is a matter of choice.
As your child practices his/her various work activities, talk about the
satisfying feelings that come with the quality accomplishment of a task.
How do I demonstrate that I am industrious?
You can demonstrate that you are industrious by taking on a job and
enjoying your work in accomplishing it.
Most adults have experienced the joy of a job well done. Children can
find and enjoy their work in the world by practice and example. Teach
your child how to do things worth doing: good habits of personal hygiene,
household chores, caring for pets, etc. All of these tasks can be done
with pride and a cheerful attitude or grudgingly and with distaste.
Set an example of a positive attitude as you pursue your tasks.
Let your child consistently see your satisfaction in a job well done.
