What does it mean to be Generous?
If you are generous, you give of yourself and do not expect anything in return.
For example, you draw your brother a picture of his favorite airplane and then
put it in his room, and then you don't ask what you can have in return. You drew
the picture and gave it to him because you are generous.
Why is it important to be generous?
If people in this world were not generous, the world would be a very sad place
to live in. If you gave your mom a hug, you would then expect a gift in return.
We should be able to hug our parents just because we love them and not for a
present! Try it second graders, I am sure your parents will like it!
How do I demonstrate that I am generous?
First of all, you must find a person or group of people who need your help and
then think of a way you could help them. Finally, do not look for them to give you
anything back.
Who could you help? There are many people such as a friend, a grandparent, a
brother or sister, even a pet!
Do something nice for them, you will feel great, and so will they!

What does it mean to Generous?
To be generous means to recognize the dignity of all human beings and to be
unselfish, charitable, and open-handed in regards to others.
It is giving freely because you want to, not with the idea of receiving attention,
a reward, or a gift in return.
Why is it important to be generous?
It is important to be generous because without generosity the world would
be a sad place. People who need help would feel like beggars without pride or
dignity. In a world without generosity, every gift would have a string attached. That is not generous giving.
Being generous is one of the best ways to show love. It is seeing an
opportunity to share what you have and then giving just for the joy of giving.
When one person is generous (through words and deeds) it is contagious-it
touches other people's hearts and then they want to be generous too.
How do I demonstrate that I am generous?
You demonstrate that you are generous by recognizing some person or group
that needs your help. Then think of some way to help or something to give.
Don't look for anything in return.
