Ethical-Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks was born in
Tuskegee, Alabama on February 4, 1913. She grew up in a society that
discriminated against African Americans. African Americans could
not go to the same movies, eat at the same restaurants, or ride on the
same sections of the buses.
Rosa Parks did not think
this was ethical. Therefore, one day Rosa refused to give her seat
up on the bus when a white person told her to move. The bus stopped
and she was arrested.
African Americans refused
to ride the busses for a long time. Soon, the Supreme Court ruled
that African Americans could ride any where they wanted on the busses and
many other laws were changed as well!
