Cooperative-Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan is considered
by many people to be the best player who has ever played the game of basketball.
At the age of 14, Michael did not make the Varsity Basketball team at his
high school, so he practiced and practiced over the winter, spring and
summer and was able to make the team the next year.
He chose The University
of North Carolina as his college, and he made the most of his experience
by hitting the winning shot to win the College Championship in the 1982
season, when he also won the College Player of the Year.
In 1984, Michael led the
U.S. Olympic Team to a Gold medal. Later that year, he was drafted
by the Chicago Bulls and won the Rookie of the Year. However, Michael
did not win any NBA championships for a long time.
Many said that Michael
would never win a championship because he was too selfish. He always
looked to take the shot and not to pass to an open teammate. Michael
decided that they were right. In 1991, Michael began using his teammates
more by passing to them when they were open and allowing everyone to get
involved. Michael and the Bulls went on to win 6 championships!
Michael Jordan was cooperative and that proved to be just what the Bulls
needed!
