Naperville Central High School is a public four-year comprehensive school with 235 certified staff members of which 90 percent have a masters degree or beyond. We have an established reputation for high quality education and college preparation. Our school mascot is the Redhawk. Enrollment for the 2005-06 year is 3087 students.
736 seniors 774 juniors 775 sophomores 802 freshmen The school day consists of eight periods (7:45 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.); each period is 50 minutes in length. All classes meet 5 days a week during two 18 week semesters. There are three lunch periods (4th, 5th, 6th hours). Upper classmen who meet set requirements are allowed "open campus" privileges.

a well-rounded education. Opportunities for foreign exchange, volunteering,
travel, and business internships further enhance our educational foundation.
Naperville Central is accredited by North
Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and the Illinois
State Department of Education. We offer a wide variety of courses
in order to challenge each student to achieve his/her potential.
Students who complete all curricular offerings may take independent study
or college course work for high school credit.

Class rank is computed at the end of the first through eighth semesters and excludes Physical Education and Driver Education. The highest GPA for the Class of 2002-03 was 4.660. The GPA at the 90th percentile was 4.094, at the 75th percentile was 3.700, and at the 50th percentile was 3.213.
