Weather and Environment is an advanced course in selected earth science topics. This course is field oriented and designed for students with interests that may lead to career possibilities in environmental fields. Scientific inquiry will engage the students in the study of the following topics: weather, climate, oceanography and water, with a special emphasis on local water resources. There will be an environmental focus throughout the course.
Level: 11, 12                             Semester: 1                   Credit: 0.5
Prerequisite: Two years of High school science credit.
Lab Fee Required
There may an additional fee for all field trips.
