Enriched Molecular Biology |
314202-314203
Enriched Molecular Biology is a laboratory based course that investigates the interconnections of life using a biochemical approach. Scientific inquiry engages students in the study of the interdependence of organisms, energy flow, the cell, heredity, how species change over time, and the relationships between structure and function. Students considering this course should be self-directed learners with strong reading comprehension skills. Students should consider their entire schedule when selecting a weighted course.
Regarding switching from Enriched Molecular Biology to Ecological Biology, students should be aware that these are two vastly different courses which start out covering different topics. Switching classes is highly discouraged and will not be allowed after the 10 day drop period. Students who want to switch from Molecular to Ecological Biology will be behind.
Level: 10, 11, 12 Semesters: 2 Credit: 1 (weighted)
