This course provides students with the fundamental vocabulary, properties, language, content and procedures of geometry. It is a study of such topics as triangles, circles, polygons, parallel lines, and inequalities, with an introduction to coordinate and solid geometry. A major emphasis is placed on construction of a formal proof, the analysis of the nature and structure of a logical system and on problem solving skills.
