This course combines analytic geometry and calculus. It is intended mainly for those students who wish a college level mathematics course. The material to be presented will be more rigorous than in previous mathematics courses with emphasis placed on derivations, proofs, and problem solving. Opportunity to take the Calculus Advanced Placement exam is provided for students desiring college placement/credit. A TI-83 PLUS or TI-84 PLUS graphing calculator is required. Calculator Policy |
