This course is designed for students who wish to study an introductory, non-calculus-based college course in statistics. The purpose of the course is to introduce students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. Students desiring one semester of college placement/credit will be provided the opportunity to take the Advanced Placement Exam. The syllabus will be developed from the outline provided by the Advanced Placement board. A TI-83 PLUS or TI-84 PLUS graphing calculator is required.. Calculator Policy |
