This course will reinforce Algebra 1 topics such as linear equations, linear graphing, and systems of linear equations. Other topics include factoring, exponents, radicals, properties of graphs, irrational numbers, analytic geometry, exponential and logarithmic functions and statistics. A second year of studying Algebra is essential for those who plan to continue the study of mathematics in high school. A or TI-83 PLUS or TI-84 PLUS graphing calculator is required.
