This course is a continuation and review of the principles learned in Algebra I with added emphasis on abstract reasoning. Topics to be covered include factoring, exponents, radicals, and properties of graphs, irrational and complex numbers, analytic geometry, and exponential and logarithmic functions and statistics. Advanced Algebra is an essential course for those who plan to continue the study of mathematics in high school and college. A TI-83 PLUS or TI-84 PLUS graphing calculator is required.
