• Students are expected to record daily targets in their notebooks.

What makes this course different from other companion courses? 

• Written Communication does not cover journalism that is covered in Written Communication: Print Visual Media.
• Several sections are designated as team taught.  In these sections, an additional teacher works with any student who needs assistance.  Being in special education is not a requirement to be in these sections.

Any other relevant and important course related information:          

Students participate in an individual reading project in which they select a novel from a list supplied by the teacher.  Students are required to read the novel on their own outside of class and participate in discussions pertinent to the novel.
