This course is open to students who have completed Woods II. The student will select projects that are functional and attractive. This course will provide information on wood technology, principles of design and planning and comprehensive treatment of machine operation techniques pertaining to cabinetmaking, wood structures, assembly, design and finishing. Safety glasses with side shields are required. These two semesters are reversible. Students may elect to start Woods III at the beginning of second semester.

Prerequisite: Woods II
Course fee required plus wood costs for selected projects.
