This course is open to any student interested in the vocational and hobby opportunities in woodworking. Basic instruction will be given in both hand tools and power tools. The student will learn to set up and adjust power equipment necessary to complete a selected project. It also covers a study on woods and occupations in the wood products industry. Approved safety glasses with side shields are required.
