All games played on April 28 and the morning games on April 29 that are tied at the end of regulation will go immediately to shoot-out (regulations for the IHSA State series will apply). The tie is the official result of the contest; the shoot-out will be used for tournament advancement purposes. All of the second games on April 29, other than the championship game, will be official if the game is tied at the end of regulation.   If the championship game is tied at the end of regulation, there will be, at most, two 10 minute sudden victory periods before the shoot-out.
