The Hornet Red Devil is a large early invite we share with the NCHS girls XC team. The teams in this meet are some of the top in the state, and will be racing in November at the IHSA State Meet. With more than 40 teams this is one of the most amazing starts around. SWARM’EM! |

Racing on the state meet in Woodruff, Peoria IL. is an awesome chance to experience similar race as the real deal in November. The course has long gradual hills, and a couple of sharp turns that make it a tactical challenge with the large number of student/athletes competing. Don’t miss the start, it’s incredible! |

Tuesday meets are great to help strengthen the boys. This meet is one day after an interval workout at the famous Lincoln Park. The varsity bakers dozen goes on a tempo run before their race begins. With our conference being so tough these are excellent meets for training. |

The Pow Wow is one of the oldest flight meet in the nation. The number of teams is down to 36, but there was a time when there were more than 50 teams racing. A flight meet allows our #7 athlete to compete with all the other teams #7 in one race. They score the meet by compiling all the places on each team to get a total. |

Get ready for the thunder of the West Aurora “Stampede”. The meet gives us a great push into the DVC meet. We have many of the varsity moved up to experience the meet as a scoring runner. It not an easy task, but our guys have had great training days all year. |

The finally for most of the members on the team the Du Page Valley Conference has some of the best talent in the state. It is a tough one! We follow up the race with a senior night at NCHS directly after. We honor the senior girls and boys along with there parents. Thanks for a great season to all of you, and good luck to the post-season runners! |

The Regional meet will be at one of our favorite courses. Hinsdale Central’s Katherine Leggie Memorial Park will host some of the strongest teams in the state. To advance to next weeks sectional, teams will have to place in the top 5, and the top 5 individuals (from teams not advancing) will join them. |
Lockport is an intimidating course for most teams, but our team has completed the toughest hill workouts anywhere. We are going to be focusing on our own race. Teams, hills, and weather will not effect our desire to make a state appearance. Swarm’em men! |
This is what we have been working for. Back in June when summer mileage began this meet seems so far away. Well it’s hear and we are ready to perform. All our workouts allow us to run our fastest race. We are prepared mentally, and thrive on the pain which will bring success. It is no accident you are running now! |
Plainfield South’s new course is a true cross country course full of trail running with hills and trees and one section by the river. This is a great meet to help build our confidence. As the largest team as the meet we historically find some good success. |

Our second Tuesday meet. Once again this meet is one day after an interval workout at the famous Lincoln Park. The varsity bakers dozen goes on a tempo run before their race begins. With our conference being so tough these are excellent meets for training. |

This is our first meet. We can expect the young freshman to be a bit unsure about how all the races are run. Our upper classmen and captains are great to address many questions to. Feel free to ask your coaches as well. This is a great opportunity to start a successful season. Good luck boys! |
