At the 2000 State Meet, held at Evanston Township H.S., the Redhawks finished in 7th place with 75 points.  The Redhawks qualified 8 swimmers out of the Neuqua Valley Sectional in 16 different events.  Top six finishers included senior Aaron McCracken who finished 1st in the 100 Breaststroke and 4th in the 100 I.M., frehman Pat Fleming who finished 5th in the 500 Freestyle, and the 200 Medley Relay team of Matt Simcock, Aaron McCracken, Martin Bell, and Pat Fleming who finished 3rd.  Senior Aaron McCracken, who just missed setting the state record, won his third consecutive 100 Breaststroke state title.  Way to go Redhawks!!
