Additional comments and notes:

A) If you intend to play soccer beyond high school you should seriously consider attending a soccer camp at the university of your choice to get a feel of the program and coach.

B) Weight training is essential in the off-season to improve both strength and flexibility. In addition each varsity candidate must come to camp in shape in order to be ready to do his best and avoid injury.

C) Remember that there are three essential components of a soccer player:
--technical= the skills of the game
--tactical= the ability to play the game, read the game, combine with teammates
--physical=speed, quickness, strength,fitness

If you have any questions, please phone the athletic department at 420-6444 or e-mail jpaskvalich@ncusd203.org.

Good luck in your tryout.

Sincerely,
John Paskvalich, Head Coach
