Jack Prelutsky

Who is Jack Prelutsky?

Jack Prelutsky has written over 40 books of original poetry and has edited several collections of children's poetry. In 2006, Prelutsky was named the first Children’s Poet Laureate by the Poetry Foundation. He lives in the state of Washington, but spends most of his time reading and talking about poetry in schools and libraries throughout the United States.

Kamishibai Stories

"Kamishibai [paper drama] is an old japanese tradition in which a storyteller would use an easel with drawings on it to illustrate his or her stories.
